Vonkrause Kennels is located in the foot hills of the beautiful adelaide hills in South Australia. We strive to do what is right and correct for the breed and our individual dogs.

 We aim to produce healthy, happy dogs with wonderful personalities. Good conformation is certainly not forgotten either!

All our dogs are hip and elbow scored. We follow the guidelines of The German Shepherd Dog Club of South Australia and The South Australian Canine Association.

 We believe that German Shepherds deserve to be part of their family. In fact they thrive in this environment. Shepherds give so much of themselves to their family and expect little in return.
 
We are constantly learning all the time as we strive to improve the breed with good breeding practices. Many hours are spent reading up on pedigree's and talking with other breeders.
 
Our puppies and dogs are brought up around small children and other animals. We believe that this socialisation is good for the dogs and good for the children.
